SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the furniture industry, namely, to bearing connecting and fixturing components used to form sectional shelving units, cabinets, tables, racks of audio, video and multimedia equipment, show cases, as well as commercial equipment and exhibition stands, and is aimed at simplifying the design of the support stand, simplification of the process of assembly and disassembly and increase of reliability of fastening of mating parts. The support stand, which is a tubular structure, consists of a supporting part which has inner and outer tubular elements, forming an integral whole, concentrically arranged relative to each other and rigidly interconnected by jumpers. The inner tubular element is designed for coaxial placement inside it of elements of bolted-type connection provided for fixation of a flat structural element having an opening for passing of rod of the said bolted-type connection. In the supporting part of the support stand a radial opening is provided to place in it of the fixing element of the bolt head or a bolted-type connection nut.
