FIELD: cryogenic equipment, particularly arrangements adapted for gas-separation devices and natural gas processing.

SUBSTANCE: method involves successive cooling cryoagent to be purified by separated liquid fraction and/or by cryoagent; condensing foreign material vapor to form fine fog; partial separating thereof from cryoagent; freezing out residual foreign material by cooling thereof with clean cryoagent to create solid crystals; separating the crystals from cryoagent and filtering out thereof. Foreign material separation and filtering is performed by passing cryoagent through a set of parallel current-conducting filtering members. Filtering member recovery is performed if cryoagent flow restriction of filtering members is increased up to ΔP=(0.01÷0.5)·Po, where Po is external mechanical damage pressure of filtering member. Filtering member recovery is performed by scavenging filtering members in turns by reverse impulse flow of pure cryoagent having velocity of V=(1÷5)·U under temperature less than melting temperature of foreign material with following removing solid crystal filtrate from front, filtering, surface of filtering member. Volume flow rate of pure cryoagent used for recovering filtering member having front surface area S is determined as q=V·S. Filtering rate of cryoagent having volume flow rate Q is calculated as U=Q/S.

EFFECT: increased time of continuous plant operation.
