FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is new reagent for preparing oxysulfonated fluorine-containing organic compounds consisting of fluorocarboxylic acid of formula: Ea-CF2-COOH, wherein Ea is electron-acceptor atom or group at least partially converted into salt with organic or mineral cation and from aprotic polar solvent number of protons being released from these components including admixtures thereof is at most half of original molar concentration of fluorocarboxylic acid. Also described is method of preparing oxysulfonated fluorine-containing organic compounds and salts thereof. Reagents are reacted with sulfur oxide, and the resulting mixture is heated at temperatures from 100 to 200 C for period of time ranging from 0.5 h to 20 h and the resulting product is optionally converted into salt. EFFECT: use of less toxic agents to environment than trifluoromethyl bromide, process is not more expensive. 19 cl, 16 ex, 7 tbl
