FIELD: organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: invention provides reagent for introducing substituted difluoromethyl group, such as trifluoromethyl group, into compounds having at least one electrophilic atom selected from carbon, sulfur, and selenium atoms is characterized by including (i) fluorocarboxylic acid of general formula Ea-CF2-COOH wherein Ea is electronoacceptor atom or group selected from electrophilic groups having Hammet constant σp at least 0.1, said fluorocarboxylic acid being salified by means of mineral or organic cations, and (ii) aprotic polar solvent, while molar constant of released protons being borne by those different components, including their admixtures, represents no more than half initial molar concentration of fluorocarboxylic acid. A method for fluoroalkilation, in particular perfluoroalkilation of above-defined electrophilic compound, is also described. EFFECT: expanded synthetic possibilities. 23 cl, 10 ex
