FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: axial thrust is transmitted to immobile structure that carries this shaft with the use of bearing. Device includes structure of sandwich type composed of elastic washer surrounded by two flanges. Axial thrust is transmitted to elastic washer, flanges interact with two probes which measure translation and linked to immobile structure of machine. Axial thrust is found by difference of measurements of two probes. EFFECT: possibility of mounting of device on operating equipment with minimal modification. 3 cl, 3 dwg
