FIELD: pilot's flying equipment. SUBSTANCE: device has two manually actuated retainers. Each retainer has the first part on helmet located so that in freed position it engages the corresponding second part on visor, and connecting mechanism, for instance, small cable is connected to both retainers so that releasing by hand of one retainer cause release of the other retainer. So, visor may be released from closed position by action of one hand without hindering observation of user. Visor may also be released by manual releasing of both retainers allowing, in this way, releasing of visor even in case of failure of connecting mechanism.
