ADHESIVE COMPOSITION Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: gluing of paper, board wood, decorative laminated and PVC plastic, plywood, repair of furniture and apartments, and gluing of parquet to concrete. SUBSTANCE: described is adhesive composition including aqueous dispersion of synthetic polymer, thickener, filler, and stabilizer. Aqueous dispersion of synthetic polymer is latex of piperiline-acrylic acid nitrile methacrylic acid copolymer at 68: 30: 2 ratio by weight; thicknener is aqueous polyacrylamide solution; and stabilizer is formalin and additive such as aerosil, ratios of components being as follows, wt %: latex of piperiline- acrylic acid nitrile-acrylic acid copolymer (calculated for any dry matter), 16.3-22.5; aqueous polyacrylamide solution (calculated for dry matter), 1.05- 1.54; formalin calculated for dry matter, 0.37; aerosil, 12.0-4.0; filler, 12.0- 24.0; water, the balance. Adhesive is prepared at room temperature in planetary type mixers. Adhesive is nontoxic and fireproof. EFFECT: increased shear strength of gluing to concrete, water-resistant composition with increased adhesion resistance, stable properties of adhesive during storage period and shorter gluing time. 1 tbl
