METHOD OF LEATHER FINISHING FOR CLOTHES Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: leather industry; applicable in finishing of leather for clothes from cattlehides. SUBSTANCE: method includes fixing of leather flesh with aqueous solution of casein, double application of paint composition containing casein, pigment concentrate, wax emulsion and water. Method is realized with intermediate pressing, break of leather in drum, stretching on frame drier and pressing. Then, applied to leather is aqueous emulsion composition containing polyurethane dispersion, dispersion of copolymer of methylacrylate, butylacrylate and methalcrylic acid in ratio of 62:35:3, wax emulsion, casein and water. Leather is subjected to fixing and final pressing. EFFECT: higher quality of leather, extended assortment of leathers for manufacture of clothes from cattlehides. 2 tbl
