FIELD: leather industry. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to facing leather from cattle stock. Method involves buffing of front surface of skin, fixing with 10% aqueous casein solution, coating impregnating primer, pressing, double laying of cover paint with intermediate pressing, and applying decorative layer. The latter contains aqueous nitrocellulose varnish, pigment paste based on a metal from the secondary subgroup of the 1st group, and water.
