FIELD: solid phase synthesis of mixture for growing of single crystals of gallium-containing oxide compounds, particularly, method of solid-phase synthesis of mixture for growing of single crystals of lanthanum-gallium tantalate by Czochralski method. SUBSTANCE: method includes solid-phase synthesis by mixing of lanthanum, gallium and tantalum oxides in ratio of La₂O₃: Ga₂O₃: Ta₂O₅=4.42:(4.67-4.69):1, and their subsequent heating to temperature of 1430-1450 C and holding at this temperature for 6 h. EFFECT: produced polycrystalline mixture in compact state, in form of shaped tablets for growing of single crystals of lanthanum-gallium tantalate, and reduced preliminary operations for mixture preparation to develop economically rational process of high-quality single crystals production. 1 tbl
