FIELD: construction engineering; erection of scaffold. SUBSTANCE: jointing member is made in the form of U-shaped screw clamp with jaw opening whose size corresponds to diameter of tubes being connected; hook-shaped cuts are made in side walls of jaw opening whose curvature radius corresponds to radius of tubes being connected. Jaw opening has nut, clamping bolt, hold-down insert which is, essentially, part of cylinder whose inner radius corresponds to radius of tubes being connected. Insert has two projections entering longitudinal slots in side walls of screw clamp. Insert can move in mentioned longitudinal slots and its effective surface has notch. EFFECT: reduced cost for scaffold mounting and dismounting. 2 cl, 16 dwg
