FIELD: applicable for generation of electric power due to formation of a vortex in a vertically positioned pipe using the difference of temperatures and pressures over the earth surface. SUBSTANCE: the device has a support carrying a shell made in the form of a vertical cylindrical pipe with a funneled opening in the lower part, and a funnel installed with the neck up and a clearance between the opening and funnel surface for suction of air from the environment. Located in the upper part of the pipe is a wind motor with an electric generator aligned with it. Positioned in the flow-through part of the device are three burners, one of which is located in the lower part of the funnel in alignment with it, the second burner- in the periphery of the neck, and the third one - in the lower part of the pipe past the funneled opening. The second and third are each made in the form of at least three branch-pipes producing a tongue of flame directed counter-clockwise if viewed from the top tangentially to the funnel and pipe walls respectively. The branch-pipes of the third burner are located in an annular groove made with a slope in the pipe wall. Installed at the entrance to the above clearance is an annular gate with guides passing through the holes of the support and connected at least to three pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders, whose outlet branch-pipe accommodates a throttle valve. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of formation of a vortex in the pipe rotating the wind motor of the electric generator. 2 dwg
