FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves tilling soil by means of apparatus made in the form of rotor with teeth performing progressive motion; performing tillage from center of apparatus to its edges and vice versa; applying specific pressure to soil, with value of pressure being uniform along the whole length of plot, and simultaneously providing additional grinding of soil. Apparatus has drive and tillage rotor with teeth. Rotor is made in the form of sectors coupled one with the other through strip with teeth arranged along longitudinal edges of working surface of sectors. Outer upper edge of sectors is connected through levers with sleeve. Coupling is fastened for reciprocation along sleeve. Inner upper edges of sectors are connected with curved recesses in housing through rolls. Method and apparatus may be used for caring of seedlings in nursery.
