FIELD: shipbuilding; designing high-speed ship lines with air cavity in her bottom. SUBSTANCE: ship has hull with side bilges and middlebody located in front of flow break-away edge of bottom planing step. Hull is also provided with skegs having flow break-away edges. Hull is provided with after-step recess under ship's bottom. This recess is bounded by planing step, skegs and lower edge of transom. Inclined deadrise lug is mounted in after-step recess between skegs; it has no flow break-away edge in its aft portion. Lug changes to roof of recess at deadrise angle in fore portion. This angle differs from similar angle of planing step by no more than 5 deg. To either side. Lug has deadrise in aft portion in area of its abutment to roof of recess at angle ranging from 0 to 10 deg. Length of lug does not exceed 0.8 of length of recess. Height of skegs and height of planing step from lug is no less than 0.015 of distance between port and starboard bilges in area of beginning of planing step. Fore portion of lug may be provided with air distributor bounded by fore planing step and side skegs. This distributor has deadrise bottom and aft wall which are provided with holes. Deadrise angle of distributor differs from deadrise angle of planing step by no more than 5 deg. To either side. Height of planing step above surface of distributor is no less than 0.007 of distance between bilges in area of beginning of planing step. EFFECT: improved service characteristics of ship. 2 cl, 4 dwg
