FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of production of chemical agents used for plant protection, namely, to production of fungicide - copper (II) oxychloride as an aqueous suspension. Method of production of copper (II) oxychloride involves treatment of metallic copper with hydrochloric and nitric acids. Obtained copper (II) chloride is treated with ammonium solution in the presence of alkaline metal chromates taken in the catalytic amounts followed by separation of obtained precipitate from mother liquor. Process is carried out at stirring with air at 20-35 C. Formed nitrogen (II) oxide is oxidized with air oxygen to nitrogen (IV) oxide that is bubbled then through water, mainly, in mixture with air in the ratio 1:8. Method provides increase monodispersity of solid phase 9-10 mcm to 90% and its retention due to suspension form. EFFECT: increased yield, product dispersity and its fungicide activity. 5 cl
