FIELD: sealing of revolving shafts. SUBSTANCE: standstill seal includes fixed sealing ring and movable sealing ring and body fixed on shaft. Sealing ring is secured in retainer through flexible diaphragm. Retainer is connected with weights over projections; weights are mounted on axles in body. Mounted between retainer and body is spring. Diaphragm forms hermetic cavity together with body. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and durability of seal operating in corrosive active and aggressive media. 1 dwg
