FIELD: electrical and electromechanical engineering; electrical machine cooling systems. SUBSTANCE: method involves heat transfer from fuel elements of turbogenerator by means of gaseous medium. Natural gas supplied at temperature from minus 30 to plus 20 C is used for the purpose; it is supplied under excess pressure directly through turbogenerator cooling circuit to furnace burners; in its movement gas transfers heat from fuel elements of turbogenerator. EFFECT: improved energy and resource conservation in turbogenerator manufacture and operation; improved operating reliability.
