SUBSTANCE: novelty is that proposed electric current generator that has open-circuit gas cooling system, stator frame, rotor, and stator is provided in addition with gas-tight barriers installed within stator frame at stator iron stack ends, gas discharge manifold mounted on outer surface of stator frame, and gas supply manifolds, on its ends.
EFFECT: provision for energy and resource conservation in manufacture and in service, enhanced operating reliability of generator.
