FIELD: industrial organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: melam and ureidomelamine-polluted solid melamine is hold in ammonia atmosphere at pressure 5 to 350 bar within a temperature range between 200 C and below melting point of melamine (depending on ammonia pressure utilized) over a time interval going from 1 min to 20 h, after which product is cooled to ambient temperature and decompressed.
