METHOD OF BRINGING-ON BLOWOUT EQUIPMENT AND DEVICE FOR ITS EMBODIMENT Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: oil and gas producing industry; applicable of open oil and gas flows at offshore wells. SUBSTANCE: set of blowout preventer equipment is brought on wellhead with the help of self-contained tensioning device located in free vertical space between hook of floating crane and base flange of flowing well. Tensioning device fulfils simultaneously functions of pulling of set of blowout preventer equipment to wellhead and compensation of wave oscillation motions. Device for method embodiment includes suspending unit and bringing-on unit. Device is provided with hydraulic compensator of wave oscillating motions which consists of hydropneumatic accumulator supplying the hydraulic cylinders of hydraulic tackle block. Hydraulic cylinders are interconnected by upper and lower cross-piece. Mounted on cross-pieces are pulleys with ropes of tackle block system. Suspending unit consists of webs welded to lower cross-piece and rope slings engaged with sling detachment cams installed in webs and operating by action of springs or hydraulic cylinders. Slings have safety branches. Bring-on unit consists of four guide ropes attached to gas-exhaust pipe of V-shaped structure. EFFECT: reduced number of used crane devices in operations involved in bringing-in of blowout preventer equipment to head of flowing well under offshore conditions, simplified technology of bringing-on process. 2 cl, 2 dwg
