FIELD: oil production, exploration and other branches of industry, namely cutting round cross section tubes, particularly at performing emergency works in well head. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for cutting tubes in well head includes housing, strap, main gear wheel, cutter holder and hydraulic drive. Apparatus is provided with mechanism for feeding tool at rate determined according to predetermined configuration of shaped ring with height variable along circle, mechanism for accelerated forced removal of cutter holder and mechanism for adjusting cut depth. Main gear wheel has slit corresponding to slit of housing and calculated number of openings for variable setting of cutter holder. Strap construction provides its mounting on cut tube at necessary coaxiality degree due to tightening by means of one nut. EFFECT: simplified works at mounting apparatus in well mouth, smooth cutter feed, enhanced efficiency of cutting operations. 8 dwg
