FIELD: radio communication, emergency warning communication systems. SUBSTANCE: tunnel antenna includes insulated wire connected to transmitter and laid along tunnel. End sections of wire are positioned in boreholes drilled from tunnel towards surface of ground. Characteristic feature of invention lies in drilling of additional boreholes along tunnel spaced one from another by distance that does not exceed double thickness of skin layer of ground surrounding tunnel. Wires connected to wire in tunnel are put into additional boreholes. Each section of wire between boreholes is connected to transmitter by means of matching transformer and common power supply line. End sections of wire are insulated from walls of borehole to prolong service life of proposed tunnel antenna. EFFECT: increased efficiency and operational reliability of tunnel antenna. 1 cl, 1 dwg
