FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as transmitting underground ultra-high frequency (UHF) antenna array (AA) of zenith radiation. UHF AA consists of group of radiators parallel to each other, installed horizontally in wells, drilled in semiconducting coat. Wells are drilled in several tiers, N wells in each tier. Each radiator is made in the form of symmetrical dipole of metal tubes connected by means of pieces of symmetrical feeder to power circuit. At that, radiator of n tier is powered relative to radiator of (n+1) tier with phase shift providing in-phase addition of electromagnetic fields of all radiators in the air-earth boundary line.
EFFECT: reaching high amplification coefficient at minimising material costs for design and operation of antenna.
