FIELD: communication engineering. SUBSTANCE: at transmission of an electric charge (charge energy) from the charge source in the form of a storing or discharging device, accomplished due to creation of a threshold electric field strength for the given medium, an igniting laser beam produces a plasma current conducting channel from the runoff area to the receiver. Runoff of the charge is provided during a time less than the time of recombination processes in the plasma current-conducting channel. In a particular case of use of the method the electric potential of the charge (energy) receiver is ensured to be equal to the electric potential of the environment. The storing (discharging) device may operate both in pulsed and stationary modes. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency (10%). 4 dwg
