FIELD: medicine; opening of glass ampoules. SUBSTANCE: scarifier is a plate article made of polymeric material chosen from the following group: aminoplasts, polyacrylates, polyformaldehydes or phenylones at the following ratio of components, mas. %: polymeric binder, 35-45; abrasive particles, 55-65. Initial components, polymeric binder in form of powder or grains and abrasive materials, are mixed and then are subjected to hot treatment by pressure at temperature of 100-120 C for 10-15 min. Scarifier, thus manufactured, is cheap, convenient in use, preserves its properties at cutting of ampoules, as abrasive particles are uniformly distributed in polymeric base, is easy to wash and permits sterilization.
