FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates abrasive tools, particularly, files and broach files. Proposed method comprises applying abrasive coating with required roughness onto metallic blank. For this, detonation spraying is used to apply hard alloy abrasive coating with required roughness reached by selecting thickness of sprayed layer and dispersion of sprayed particles.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
