FIELD: protection facilities. SUBSTANCE: structure and protective casing have at least three layers positioned in succession. External layer is made impact and heat-resistant. Intermediate layer is made of dry, fireproof, porous-fibrous material, and internal layer is manufactured of porous-fibrous material impregnated with water-containing component or water-containing gel. Thermal protection method includes creation of internal protected space and formation of protective barrier around it made of laminated structure described above. The arrangement of layers enables effective protection of, for example, airborne data storages from fire, impact loads and static overloads. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 22 cl, 2 dwg
