GRADIENT CONCENTRATOR Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2162257 C1

FIELD: electrical equipment; converters and inverters. SUBSTANCE: gradient concentrator has conducting electrodes arranged on common substrate. Electrodes are made in the form of quasi- planar point-antipoint pair and spaced apart through distance comparable with curvilinear radius of point and sufficient for tunneling electrons. Two- dimensional array can be made of gradient concentrators. Device provides for effective current rectification under severe temperature conditions and at low voltages, with extremely low voltage applied. EFFECT: improved performance characteristics. 2 cl, 2 dwg
