FIELD: photodetectors, modulators, radiators, automatic shutters, transparencies, dyes, heat generators, nonlinear media. SUBSTANCE: photoconverter designed for conversion of optical and electrical energy and made in the form of electromagnetic vibrator where arm-to-arm gap does not exceed tunnel-transparent one executes resonance-tuned, that is selective, reflection, absorption, and nonlinear interactions. Feeding dc voltage to gap changes vibrator over to narrow-band radiation mode; to this end vibrator arms are provided with leads. In order to ensure resonance-tuned reception part of vibrator arms is made in the form of point and antipoint to obtain gradient concentrator in gap. Full-wave detection is attained due to connection of vibrator arms across diagonally opposite pair of rectifier bridge terminals, its other diagonally opposite pair of junctions being provided with leads. Desired spectral characteristic is generated due to inclusion of different resonant frequencies (colors) in vibrator matrix, and their integration in groups provided with leads for connection to external circuits enlarges functional capabilities of photoconverter.
