INJECTION PUMP WITH NEEDLE TUBE CATCH (MODIFICATIONS) Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2162345 C2

FIELD: injection of solution to patients from vessels through intravenous tube. SUBSTANCE: the pump has a body divided into sections, which in the solution dosage position takes up a vessel for intravenous solution. The vessel is placed on top the chamber inside the section, and the chamber stretches by fluid being under pressure so as to apply the push force to the vessel, which contracts, and the solution runs out through the tube. The pump placed in the body forces the fluid, for example, air into the chamber under the influence of the control system. The pressure transducer presents the fluid pressure in the chamber by an indirect method through the pressure exerted on the pad that is engaged with the chamber wall. In response to the displacement of the pressure pad the control system generates a signal on the value of pressure for control of the valve, which changes over the fluid between the pump and the chamber. Provision is made for a dosing needle for connection of the vessel dosing duct to the tube through the fluid. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and safety of injection, provision to vary the injection rate at a constant feed pressure. 22 cl, 7 dwg
