FIELD: concentration by flotation methods; applicable in mining, metallurgical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: method includes supply to machine of pulp, its aeration in layer of main mixing, separation and withdrawal of products of separation from the foal layer. Pulp is supplied to not below the boundary of main mixing zone at pressure exceeding the hydrostatic one and uniforms over perimeter of boundary of main mixing zone. Height from boundary of main mixing zone to subfoam layer amount at least up to 0.5 height of main mixing zone. Device for embodiment of the claimed method has a chamber with foam lip and including main mixing zone with stator accommodated inside chamber and impeller connected with hollow shaft for air supply. Chamber is additionally furnished with a device for supply of pulp and installed at level of upper boundary of main mixing zone. Distance from pulp supply device to upper edge of foam lip amounts at least up to 0.5 height of main mixing zone.
