SUBSTANCE: apparatus has curved air chamber, collector positioned in lower part of air chamber and adapted for collecting separated particles, straight charging horizontal branch pipe and straight vertical cut grass discharge branch pipe, screen attached with its one end to lower part of air chamber wall, baffle-type gate positioned above particle collector and screen and movable in vertical plane. Apparatus may be used in feeding machines for producing pelleted and briquetted feeds. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and improved quality of feed by reducing the content of quartzite-containing particles in dry cut grass. 1 dwg
