FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to methods and devices for preliminary cleaning and classification of bulk materials and can be used in agricultural production for cleaning food grains and dividing grain into classes, as well as in the food, chemical and other industries. The method for classifying bulk materials includes supplying bulk material to a reflective plane, creating a volumetric-structural interface between particles with different elastic properties and an air flow that is fed across the fan of reflected particles towards the sedimentary chamber, dividing the pre-cleaned material into fractions by transversely blowing the pouring layer horizontally air flow. Before feeding the grain layer onto the reflecting plane, it is first stratified in the grain layer according to density and particle size on an inclined rough surface installed at an angle to the horizon greater than the angle of repose of the material. Subsequent separation into fractions, reflected by the elastic properties of the particles and previously cleared of impurities, is carried out by a horizontal air flow differentiated by speed. The width of the fan of reflected particles is regulated by the angles of installation of the rough surface and the reflecting plane to the horizon, as well as the vertical distance between the lower edge of the rough surface and the upper part of the reflecting plane. A device for classifying bulk materials contains a loading hopper, a feeder-dispenser, a reflective plane, a pneumatic chamber located underneath it with a material pipeline for separating light impurities from the grain fan by air flow and transporting them to the sedimentary chamber, and receivers of the separated fractions. The device is equipped with a chamber installed under the pneumatic chamber for classifying the purified material into classes and an air channel with blinds to regulate the air speed along the length of the classification chamber, as well as a rough surface installed with the ability to adjust the angle of inclination to the horizon after the feeder-dispenser and in front of the reflective plane, made with the possibility adjusting the angle of inclination to the horizon and moving vertically. The fraction receivers are made with sluice gates.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of purification and classification of bulk materials according to the complex of physical and mechanical properties of the particles.
