FIELD: clarification of industrial water at factories when treating non-ferrous metals in metallurgical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: method of purification of industrial water containing suspended substances and oil comprises introducing flocculant, flocculant includes nonstoichiometric polyelectrolytic complex formed from polydimethyl diallylammonium chloride and anionic surfactant which is oleic acid-diethyanol-sulfuric acid amino ester condensation product. Industrial water is then aerated. Amount of flocculent used is 0.4-5 g per 1 cubic of industrial water. Aeration is carried out towards current of industrial water.
