FIELD: construction engineering; facing of buildings. SUBSTANCE: building walls are faced with plates having mounting holes, screw members, and sealing plugs. Plates are double-layer structures, one layer being heat insulation and other one is decorative and protective face layer. Depressions are made on external surfaces of plates over circumference of mounting holes to receive cylindrical fastening members with conical depression in center; fastening members have projecting edge over circumference its thickness being equal to that of face layer. Plates are screwed to building wall through mounting holes; sealing plugs made in the form of truncated cone are installed above heads of screw members flush with face layer. EFFECT: facilitated fabrication of sealing plugs and fastening members. 5 cl, 4 dwg
