FIELD: construction engineering; erection of building walls form blocks. SUBSTANCE: wall has hollow blocks butt-to-butt placed in rows and provided with longitudinal walls and transversal partitions so that space is formed and filled with structural and/or heat-insulating material, and reinforcement. Block has locking projection made in the form of part of rectangular-section partition protruding above longitudinal walls; size of protruding part equals distance between inner edges of side longitudinal walls; partitions are installed at certain distance from ends of partition part equal to one fourth of its length; groove is provided in protruding part of partition; volume of groove is equal to that of locking projection. Blocks are used to form through cavities; locking projections of blocks are arranged in block cavities of adjacent rows through height and fixed through wall height in longitudinal and transversal directions in each row.
