FIELD: cosmetic industry, particularly, production of cosmetic compositions of treatment-and-prophylactic use for skin and hair care. SUBSTANCE: biologically active additive from Jerusalem artichoke using various parts of plants and their final forms has the following chemical combination, %: water, 2.0-14; carbohydrates, 14-90; protein, 1.0-20; fats, 0.1-12.0; ash residue, 3-16. The biologically active additive also includes a large content of biogenic micro- and macro-elements: silicon, iron, magnesium, zinc, manganese, potassium and phosphorus.
