FIELD: fodder production. SUBSTANCE: additive is used for preparation of fodder mixtures enriched with biologically active additives from Jerusalem artichoke for curative-prophylactic using in dietetics in ration of domestic and farm animals. As the main component, fodder additive contains tuber and/or above-ground part of Jerusalem artichoke in dried form with the following chemical composition, %: water, 2.0-14.0; hydrocarbons, 10.0-90.0; protein, 1.0-20.0; fat, 0.1-5.0; food fibers (cellulose), 2.0-20.0; ash residue, up to 3.0-18.0; silicon, up to 8.0; potassium, up to 2.0; phosphorus, up to 5.0. Biologically active fodder mixtures for dietetics of domestic and farm animals additionally include in their composition fillers: macro- and microelements in the form of salts, components of vegetable, animal and mineral origin. The fodder additive from parts of dried Jerusalem artichoke may be used in various forms (powders, tablets, etc.).
