FIELD: foundry. SUBSTANCE: method includes introduction into mixer water and its mixing one part of refractory filler and process additive; cooling of mixture; introduction into mixture of water glass and remaining part of refractory filler; mixing of compounds; introduction of hardener and mixing up to obtaining of ready suspension. Prior to introduction of water glass, suspension is cooled to temperature of 7-15 C. Water glass before or during introduction is heated to temperature of 18-38 C and passed through cation exchanger containing coal-tar resin or sulfonated coal, or granulated bituminous coal or aluminum powder. Change of sequence of introduction of ingredients in mixing and reduction of suspension temperature increase suspension serviceability, reduce rejects of suspension, molds and castings. Introduction into suspension of water glass preliminarily heated and passed through cation exchanger ensures increase of refractoriness and thermal stability of ceramics. Reduction in water glass of alkali compounds improves surface cleanness and casting size accuracy, reduced rejects caused by metal loss, reduced cost of initial materials, improved ecology. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 4 ex
