FIELD: foundry. SUBSTANCE: suspension includes refractory filler, liquid glass, ferrochrome slag, surfactant, and a process additive. The latter is a fire-retardant in amount of 0.5-2.5 wt.% preliminarily clad with mixture of monoethanolamine in amount of 0.02-0.55 wt.% and aluminum phosphate salt in amount 0.8-1.5 wt.%. Additive retards interaction of liquid glass and hardeners thereby increasing survivability of suspension. After incubation period, additive increases intensity of interaction of mentioned components as well as suspension gelatin rate. EFFECT: increased strength, ductility, and heat-resistance of molds and cores due to increased level of phosphate-aluminosilicate compounds in ceramics. 2 tbl
