FIELD: railway transport; cars. SUBSTANCE: passenger motor car has body with through-shaped bottom to which lattice-like side walls with windows and entrance sections provided with doors are connected. Side walls consist of pillars 30, lower longitudinal beams 26 and upper longitudinal chords 28. Upper longitudinal chords are supported by connecting beams from two sides, and pillars of side walls are connected with lower longitudinal beams and upper longitudinal chords to provide flexural rigidly and serve as bearing members for windows and side lining elements. Vertical door pillars 32 are found in entrance section. Pillars are connected with lower longitudinal breams and upper longitudinal chords and enclose aperture closed by doors. Side wall pillars are installed at angle of 60^°±10^° relative to each other in zigzag manner. EFFECT: reduced weight of structure. 23 cl, 4 dwg
