FIELD: railway transport; passenger vehicles. SUBSTANCE: middle part of body in low-frame structure is lowered relative to end parts. At least one end part is made in form of head part of motor car. At least one diesel- mechanical, or diesel-electric or electric drive is used as drive of vehicle. Provision is made for use of multisystem drive combined of two different modifications of electric drives or multisystem drive combined of diesel-electric and two different modifications of electric drives with at least one traction electric motor acting onto running gear axle. Proposed vehicle can be used on any routes with short stop-to-stop distances providing uninterrupted trips. Vehicle features improved comfort providing single-step or stepless entrance. Required power output and type of drive can be adapted to specific conditions. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities and improved comfort. 26 cl, 14 dwg
