FIELD: hydrometallurgy of rare metals; applicable in recovery of scandium from titanium and zirconium production wastes in purification of scandium concentrates from titanium. SUBSTANCE: method is characterized by the fact that introduced into solution prior to extraction is hydrogen peroxide with weight ratio to titanium concentration of 0.4-11. Extraction is carried out with solution of aminophenolformaldehide oligomer in toluene, and extraction process is carried out with pH 1.8-4.1. The method increases coefficient of separation of metals up to 450 and reduces concentration of sulfuric acid in extraction system to 0.0001-0.01 mole/l (pH 1.8-4.1). EFFECT: reduced use of ecologically harmful reagents, simplified process apparatuses and improved labor conditions.
