FIELD: hydraulic power engineering, applicable for production of electric power without disturbance of the hydrologic characteristics of the used river and environment of the river and ground adjoining it. SUBSTANCE: hydro-electric station uses a pressure tunnel with a water intake in the river and a gate. The pressure tunnel has a slope less than the slope of the river bottom and connects the water intake to the intermediate reservoir, from which the pressure tunnel of the impulse Pelton turbine coupled to the generator shaft originates. Installed in the intermediate reservoir between the intake of the pressure tunnel and the inlet to the inlet of the power conduit is a flow damper made in the form of a wall with holes. Each bucket of the turbine impeller is made in the form of two bent chutes diverging at an angle and fastened on the impeller for turning about the axis of its fastening. EFFECT: reduced capacity of the intermediate balancing reservoir without disturbance of the processes of its filling and emptying, enhanced efficiency of impulse Pelton turbines at the their use for production of electric power from small rivers. 4 dwg
