FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves continuously recording electrocardiogram. Series are selected corresponding to breathing waves. The series are ranged in periods with cardiac impulse number being taken into account. Peaks amplitudes and time intervals separating them are determined in every series as Tn(f). Statistical mean value is calculated for each peak Rn(m) and time interval Tn(m) in every series. Amplitude of every peak Rn(f) and every time interval value Tn(f) are compared to the corresponding statistical mean values. The so obtained values are subjected to encoding. One-, two-, three- and multimember coding combinations are used for encoding. Patient code charts are built depending on encoding type and the number of members in coding combination. The code charts are compared to reference code charts taken from healthy and ill people. The code charts are built in the same manner including only the coding combinations of 100% recurrence. Conclusions concerning the norm or disease cases are drawn if full set of corresponding standard combinations is found in the code chart. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnosis; accelerated and easy method.
