FIELD: pharmaceutical and chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves impregnating absorbent atraumatic material, such as multilayer gauze applied to fixing leukoplastic tape, with solution of antiseptic substances. Absorbent material is impregnated single time with 1.5-3%-solution of feracryl, squeezed to moisture content of 45-85%, dried at temperature of 90-100 C to residual moisture content of 3-7% and feracryl content of 2.5-7% in dried material. Material obtained is cut into strips of required width, applied to leukoplastic tapes, covered from above with protective layer of adhesive coat, such as siliconized paper, and exposed to radiation sterilization. Maximum hemostatic effect is provided when feracryl content in dried gauze is within the range of 3-5 wt. %, in direct proportion to concentration of working solution and moisture continent upon squeezing. Hemostatic plaster may be used in therapeutic and prophylactic enterprises as well as in home conditions for suppressing hemorrhage during surgical interventions, as well as for curing of industrial and domestic injuries. EFFECT: increased efficiency by optimum content of feracryl in dried gauze, intensified method for manufacture of medicine form of feracryl used as hemostatic plaster. 4 cl, 1 tbl
