SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analogs of vitamin D of the formula (I) where R means the group: where q = 0, 1; n = 2-4; m = 0; Y₁ and Y₂ mean independently hydrogen or halogen atom; R₁ and R₂ mean independently hydrogen atom, lower alkyl optionally substituted with halogen atoms or azido-group; X means hydrogen atom of hydroxy-group being the present hydroxy-groups are protected. Invention describes also the pharmaceutical composition showing the inhibitory activity with respect to proliferation of tumor cells based on compounds (I). Compounds show anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating effects and strong activity stimulating differentiation and inhibiting unfavorable proliferation of some cells.
