FIELD: construction industry, particularly, methods of construction of foundations in rammed down foundation pits on soft and settling grounds for industrial and civil buildings and structures. SUBSTANCE: pile-slab foundation includes main slab of preset size in plan and toothed supports joined to slab lower side and installed on reinforced or compacted ground. Novelty in pile-slab foundation consists in that it has additional lower horizontal slab with rigidly exceeding that of natural grounds and connected with main slab through toothed supports and stiffening ribs located from lower side of main slab in number corresponding to at least number of structure bearing walls. In this case stiffening ribs at least in points of wall crossing are provided with toothed supports. Method of construction of pile-slab foundation includes excavation of common foundation pit with horizontal area for main slab, ramming down on bottom of common foundation pit of pits for toothed supports, successive filling of pits for toothed supports and common foundation pit with mechanically binding material. Novelty of the claimed method consists in that additionally rammed down on bottom of common foundation pit are pits for stiffening ribs. On bottom of some part of pits for stiffening ribs, pits for toothed supports are rammed down. Additional horizontal slab is provided with rigidly higher than that of natural ground by its compaction and introduction of additional material or hardening liquid mass into ground through pits of toothed supports or pits of stiffening ribs. EFFECT: higher reliability and economic efficiency of construction and operation of baseplates and foundations for civil and industrial buildings and structures. 32 cl, 10 dwg
