FIELD: building, particularly to erect industrial and civil building foundations in pits having compacted walls and dug out in weak ground.
SUBSTANCE: method involves digging out pit having compacted walls by immersing working tool in the ground transversely to day surface; shifting ground along with compacting walls thereof; filling the pit with hardening material. One or several plates are used as the working tool. Ground is shifted by reciprocating the plates in plane transversal to day surface by applying force to upper end thereof. Above reciprocal movement is carried out along with increase in plate reciprocate amplitude and with increase in force applied to pit to provide predetermined pit shape and mechanical pit wall characteristics.
EFFECT: increased load-bearing capacity of foundation to be erected.
