FIELD: building, particularly to erect large and heavy buildings on non-uniformly compressible and weak ground.
SUBSTANCE: method of settlement difference reduction by applying action to ground to change strength and deformation characteristics thereof involves performing calculations to determine mode of "ground-foundation-building" system deformation and to obtain information concerning strengthening and weakening "ground-foundation-building" system member areas location and shape; applying separate action to each member of the system or to all members at the same time along with changing mode of deformation thereof. Above action is performed by strengthening ground in center of building site simultaneously with weakening thereof at periphery. Action is applied to foundation by increasing flexural rigidity thereof to obtain flexural rigidity maximum in foundation panel center and minimum at periphery thereof. Action is applied to building by increasing rigidity of building area adjoining the foundation in center and periphery thereof and reducing rigidity of area between building center and periphery.
EFFECT: prevention of non-uniform foundation settlement before building erection.
